York Region Amateur Radio Club By-Laws
The York Region Amateur Radio Club was formed in 1959 and incorporated on July 19th, 1978 as the “York North Amateur Radio Club”. The letters patent describe the purpose of the club as “to encourage and promote interest and knowledge in Amateur Radio Service as defined by Regulation and the Radio Act, for the advancement of Amateur Radio by technical and fraternal means.”
The club by-laws clarify the principles and procedures under which the club operates and is now in its Eighth revision, having been ratified by the membership at the June 2021 Annual General Meeting
