I have memories of building a crystal radio and other projects from plans in this book, as a youngster, with with my father's help. I've found the book on EBay and AbeBooks but the asking prices are 100's of dollars! Obviously I'm not the only one with such memories. It would be great to leaf through a copy again if anyone has one. Thanks!
I'm looking for the CHIRP file club members used for their handhelds. Can someone give me a pointer to it? For the 4th year, 8th Richmond Hill Technical Venturer Scouts will be helping out at the hamfest. Most of their have their license and bring their handhelds. Last year, we found most club members were not using the two frequencies that were posted for the event, and were instead referring to channel numbers from the CHIRP file. We'd like to get our radios set up the same way before the event. RJ VA3YLB
